The Clubsport variant for the Mustang has optimized deflection blades for channeling the air into the center of the wheel. The OEM air blades are replaced by the Speed Engineering blades. It is strongly recommended that you also replace the anchor plate with the one from Speed Engineering, as this contains an opening at the point of impact of the air. Through this opening, the air can be drawn in via the brake disc and thus cooled more efficiently.
In this case it is necessary to work on the existing bumper. The supplied counter plate, so that the ventilation duct is screwed, also serves as a cutting template to create an opening in the plastic.
Outlet:
We use the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc Use the turbine effect to cool the window from the inside. In doing so, we target the pane at an angle in order to avoid any wastage and to use the available air volume as efficiently as possible.
Due to the lightweight construction in combination with powdered aluminum, the component is sufficiently strong and at the same time light insensitive.

The ball joint of your wishbone is extremely close to the hot brake disc and will be affected over time. Therefore, this anchor plate has additional shielding for the bearing and thereby increases longevity.
