Intrax 1K2 system for the BMW M2, M3, M4, F80, F82, F83, F87 type. Each set is tailor-made based on your wishes and specific car, which is why we do not have any sets in stock and we are dependent on the production time at Intrax.
Please contact us about possible options and prices. Because sets are custom made and there are many options, this is not suitable for a webshop item.
Intrax coilovers stand for very high quality damping, wide adjustability, the latest technology in material selection, springs and coatings. In this article we offer the 1k2 and RSA options, it is also possible to go for a 2k2 or 4-way set for more individual adjustment, especially aimed at circuit use.
The RSA rear system is the cheaper option. The RSA shock absorber is a steel shock absorber with a Ø40mm piston with a separately placed spring (can also be coil over, but is often not desirable for street use due to possible noise). This shock absorber is equipped with a thermostat and can be adjusted in damping using 1 button (bump and rebound at the same time in the correct ratio). The RSA rear shock is not available with ARC.
Intrax deliberately chooses one adjustment knob to adjust the damping. This button makes it possible to adjust the damping. When the knob is turned, the outgoing and incoming damping are simultaneously adjusted to the correct ratio. This system makes it possible to adjust the setup in detail to your driving style, road surface conditions and weather conditions. Finally, we have also equipped the damping with a thermostat which ensures constant damping regardless of the outside and/or operating temperature. For the front we have a 45mm upside down shock absorber. This combination provides much greater installation stiffness (less flex) in the Mac Pherson front suspension. This not only benefits the grip but also the feeling the driver has with the car.

The 1K2 has the following advantages: Lower unsprung weight Larger volume damper. For better temperature management Bigger piston. More control and stronger due to more movement Good corrosion resistance due to anodizing Light metal dissipates heat more quickly Modular construction with the option for the unique ARC® system

Options: Top mounts: Yes: including front camber plates No: installation on your own OEM top mounts.
BlackTitan Black Titan is a development done for the military air force. They started looking for something that would make the engines more resistant to the various tortures they are exposed to (freezing cold, extreme heat, snow storms, sand storms, etc.). This has become Black Titan, extremely hard, very low friction coefficient and resistant to corrosion. After applying Black Titan to their aircraft engines, the maintenance interval was sometimes extended by up to 100%. Intrax has thought that what is good for their engines is also good enough for our shock absorbers. The coating is placed on the guide and piston rod, which are then no longer sensitive to corrosion and the friction with the other parts is also reduced, which in turn benefits the operation of the damper.
ARC: ARC® The ideal system for competition and professional racing drivers. With the ARC® system it is possible to use that spring which gives a little more peace in the car, drives more smoothly over the bumps/curbs, which gives just a little more traction and grip, but is actually too soft because it has too much unwanted roll. /pitch generates and even breaks through on some holes/bumps/curbs. Because ARC® is able to distinguish between holes/bumps/curbs and bends/brakes, it is now possible to opt for a slightly softer spring without sacrificing stability. ARC® does all this without using expensive, complicated, interference-sensitive electronics. ARC® is a system that interprets the shock absorber speed in a mechanical/hydraulic way and can therefore make a difference in its response to different actions. That ARC® is different from many existing systems has been proven several times on the circuit (Chevrolet Camaro GT4 after installing the ARC® system, their first ever victory in the GT4 after 3 years of participation) and on public roads (Ferrari 599 , the customer now says he has the ideal combination between a luxury street car and a super sports car)
