Most vehicles have only indicated cooling on the front axle and usually no cooling on the rear axle. Among other things, Porsche has recognized that the cooling of the brake is essential for the performance, durability and service life of the brakes and their components.
The geometry of the components is designed to fit the wishbone of the BMW M2, M3 and M4 of the G series and can be mounted plug/play with cable ties and without a lifting platform, or the dismantling of the wheels. The inlets are designed to be flat, so that they are not to represent the lowest point of the vehicle and deflect the air flow under the vehicle and direct it to the centre of the rotating wheel.
The components are made of a PA12 plastic and already contain slits for attachment. The continuous rejuvenation between the inlet and the outlet leads to the acceleration of the air flow with the same volume and thus to a targeted outflow of the air.
What about the rear axle?
It is not possible to cover every vehicle and every axle with a tailor-made solution and therefore we have developed universal cooling and have been intensively tested on a wide variety of vehicles for months. You can find the product here: Cooling for the rear axle
The following diagram shows the measurement on the rear axle with still mounted anchor plate:
A difference of partially 50°C in the peak over the measuring band can be seen here. However, if you drill holes in the anchor plate, or remove it, you have the maximum performance with a delta of up to 200°C. You can look at the report at the following link: Documentation
