This article concerns the overhaul of your differential. The differential must therefore be supplied by you for this price.
Rebuild options:
1) Complete overhaul (bearings, oil seals, sandblasting, painting) except the interlock
Recommended if there are no problems with the LSD, but there is a singing sound when driving straight ahead. Differential, apart from the time limiter, again as good as new.
2) rebuild of the Drexler LSD with new clutch plates and pre-load adjustment
Recommended when the LSD falls short in performance, there is a lot of steel shavings in the differential oil and there is play to the drive shafts.
3) Option 1 + 2 combined
Recommended if the differential has to be completely in perfect order again, it must also remain good in the long term and also have an added value in performance. Complete diff as good as new
