The options for upgrading the blocking:
1) Repairing the e-LSD;
Recommended when there is only play or noise when cornering, but there are no complaints when driving straight ahead. The locking clock is machined and equipped with a system that eliminates and prevents the backlash. (Work is done on own differential)
2) Overhaul + Repair of the LSD combined;
Recommended when the differential as a whole needs to be fresh again. We can probably offer an exchange differential, so that the waiting time for assembly is about 3 hours. (not possible for all models)
3) Installation of an OS Giken superlock LSD (Drexler ;or Wavetrac also available at extra cost)
Recommended when it needs to be replaced with an aftermarket spear with better performance. We need the car for this for about 3 days (Work is done on our own differential)
4) Overhaul + installation of an OS Giken superlock LSD (Drexler or Wavetrac also available at extra cost)
Recommended when the barrier needs to be replaced for a aftermarket sprocket with better, more stable performance. We can probably offer an exchange differential, which means that the waiting time for assembly is approximately 3 hours. (not possible for all models)
5) rebuild + installation of an OS Giken TCD; 4600,-
Recommended when the spear needs to be replaced for an aftermarket spear with the best, most durable performance. We can probably offer an exchange differential, which means that the waiting time for assembly is approximately 3 hours. (not possible for all models)
For combination 2 it is more convenient to order by e-mail, which is cheaper.

E-diff bypass:
In order to install a mechanical LSD instead of the electronically controlled e-diff, which can sometimes be problematic, difficult to predict and will loosen over time and for which no separate parts are available (Only a complete replacement unit from BMW for a lot of $$$$), the electronic control must be adjusted otherwise it will give an error message. With our adjustment, nothing can be seen or noticed from the outside and for the computer (including that of the dealer, etc.), but you can rely on the mechanical operation of your record barrier while driving.

rebuild of the M electronically controlled differential lock. Concerns replacing the bearings and seals, cleaning and applying a new coat of paint.
The differential must therefore be supplied by you for this price. We have an exchange unit available for most models, please contact us for details.
