Complete plug and play set for cooling fins and a tapping plug. We have developed this set because the covers with cooling fins (33117516280) for these differentials are no longer available from BMW. We have changed the design and made a plate that fits between the cover and the differential. We can achieve the following benefits with this:
- More oil capacity (+0.08 liters)
- Equipped with a drain plug so that you can easily change the differential oil
- Cooling fins that provide passive cooling of the differential oil
- Oil splash collection remains original so that there is no chance of foaming oil.
- Differential cover with some extra fins
This set contains:
- Intermediate plate with cooling fins
- Bolt with o-ring as drainplug
- 8x longer bolts for attaching the cover to the differential.
- E60 differential cover with small fins and with top connection to connect a hose to the vent
Please note: on some models a few fins will have to be cut off otherwise the exhaust will hit them.
