The steering wheel is completely covered in Alcantara, flattened at the bottom and with a white stitching seam.
But the highlight here is the display in the center of the upper steering wheel segment.
You can access a number of efficiency and motorsport-related functions* via an OLED and two LED displays.
You do this with control buttons in the thumb recesses.
You can choose from three modes: ECO, sport and race.
The LED displays show the optimal switching moment in all three modes.
In ECO mode, various displays are also possible to support a fuel-saving driving style.
The sport mode includes a stopwatch with display of the current consumption values and a G-meter for the current acceleration force, including memory function.
The race mode has a lap timer with various stop and memory functions.
A lap trigger is also optionally available.
Lap times can be measured automatically and extremely accurately via an infrared transmitter and receiver.
Additionally, the race mode offers several acceleration measurements, such as the 0-100 km/h sprint** and the quarter-mile sprint.
The water temperature and oil temperature (petrol engines) are also displayed in all three modes.
