Made for the M50/52/54 S50/52/54 in combination with the strong M30 coupling set. The flywheel fits all E36 4- and 6-cylinder gearboxes including the 220 (G250) and also the M20 G260 gearbox. It does not fit in the E30 4-cylinder G240 box. The 240mm flywheel is made of high-strength Chromoly and weighs only 3.8kg (standard M50 dual mass is 11.2 kg).
The original M5x/M4x starter motor can be used.
This flywheel fits, for example, on standard E36 325i, but with an M30 clutch kit. It is recommended to check that the slave cylinder is about 60-70% compressed after installation. In some cases a slightly longer axle is needed on the slave cylinder, this can be made from a piece of 8mm steel or an M8 bolt.
Due to the low weight, it will greatly improve the response of the engine and acceleration also increases. Less power is needed to rev up the flywheel, and this power then goes directly to the wheels. (less drive-train-loss)
Including the S38 M5 coupling that can handle a lot of power and is easy to drive on the street. The flywheel bolts are also included.

General information about flywheels:
It is a widely held belief that a larger/heavier flywheel is used to give the engine more torque, and that torque will decrease with a lighter flywheel. This is not the case. Heavy flywheels are used purely for easy engagement of the clutch so that grandma can drive away without stopping, nothing more and nothing less. Once the car rolls, a heavy flywheel becomes completely unnecessary. The powertrain and the weight of the car already have so much momentum that a heavy flywheel does not add much to this. Extra weight, especially at the crankshaft, then makes the car less fast in terms of acceleration. So if you don't intend to drive like a grandma, a light flywheel will only give you an advantage. The experience is that the engine response is much better and the car accelerates a lot faster!
